More Information

Downstairs dogs get 3 walks a day and have either a 4'x4' indoor only kennel or an indoor/ outdoor kennel. Upstairs dogs get 4 walks a day for those tiny bladders. Mealtimes can be up to 3 times a day, with the last mealtime for a downstairs dog being at 4pm, and last meal for an upstairs dog being at 6pm. We want to make sure that we try to keep their schedules for feeding as close to at home feeding as possible, however that doesn't always line up with our schedule for how we need to take care of the animals in our care. The last of our staff leaves here at 7pm and doesn't return until 7am in the morning. We do have cameras for us to keep an eye on your pet however, we do not have staff here overnight. We highly recommend owners bring their own food for their pets, however we do have Science Diet prescription GI food here if need be.

Due to cross contamination, we do not accept raw or fresh food.

  • If you want a grooming or bathing appointment during your stay for boarding it will be a separate deposit for that reservation.

Vaccination Requirements

Our vaccination requirements were put in place by the previous owners, which consisted of a vet and a facility manager who owned this facility for more then 20 years. When they developed the vaccination policy it was with your pets health in mind. When a pet is in a high population for other pets there are risks involved that include virial sicknesses that can be passed back and forth though the animals in our care. Not all sicknesses can be prevented but on the ones that can be, we want to make sure we protect the animals in our care as best we can, and that starts with you. Although making sure your pet has the right vaccinations can be rather annoying, it is your responsibility to make sure your pet is fully vaccinated per our requirements before they come into our facility. We will do the best we can to let you know what they are missing, in order to take your pet into our facility, but at the end of the day it is your responsibility to make sure it gets done and records are received by our staff.

Vaccination Requirements by Services

Dog Boarding

-Rabies

-Distemper (dhpp)

-Bordetella (every 6 months)

-Canine Influenza

-We also require an "Oral" flea and tick prevention and require some type of record from your vet (example: updated prescription, sometimes found on box of pill or receipt from purchase) If your pet is not on an oral flea and tick prevention, we can supply a 24hr Capstar for your pet, at your expense. *Please note that with out a prescription for oral flea and tick your pet will be required to receive a capstar at the beginning of every stay with us.

-Lastly if your pet is going to be here for a month or more they will be required to be up to date on Heart Worm prevention as well.

Cat Boarding

-Rabies

-FVRCP

-Feline Bordetella (every 6 months)

-We also require flea and tick prevention, provided by a vet with a prescription or receipt of purchase. In most cases this also includes heartworm prevention. If your pet is not on an oral flea and tick prevention, we can supply a 24hr Capstar for your pet, at your expense. Please note that with out a prescription for oral flea and tick your pet will be required to receive a capstar at the beginning of every stay with us.

Dog Grooming

Because grooming dogs are kept in a secluded section of the facility and because they are not here for as long as the other animals in our care, we do not have as many vaccine requirements.

We require 2 shots to proved grooming services:

-Rabies

-Bordetella (every 6 months)

We also require your pet to be pest free, if at any point during the groom, your pet is found with fleas or ticks, your pet will be given a capstar to rid them of the parasites at your expense. If ticks are observed then the ticks will be removed safely, depending on the severity there maybe an additional charge for this. We highly recommend your pet is examined by a vet, to be tested for Lyme Disease, if ticks have been observed.

*Please note, if you would like your pet to get group play during their spaw day visit, they will need to be updated on all daycare/boarding vaccinations as well.*
